Welcome to MV Wildcrafted Skincare®. We are a company based in East Sussex focussed on producing small batch, artisanal, all-natural and organic oil-based skincare. Our mission is to be environmentally sustainable, as well as producing high quality products. Company CEO and founder Mary Valentine is a qualified medical herbalist and organic skincare formulator of over 20 years, who created this range out of a desire to not only harness the beneficial properties of nature, but also to respect it and give something back in the process.

What sets our company apart is our dedication to Wildcrafted Skincare®, a term we have trademarked in the UK and EU, which means ingredients sourced directly from their natural habitats, untouched by pesticides or artificial interference of any kind, including watering. For example, our wildcrafted rosehip oil is from hedgerows on land where we have an agreement with the smallholder, and handpicked at the peak of their potency. Our commitment to this not only ensures the highest quality phytoactive ingredients but also minimises our environmental footprint; it’s a win-win for consumers and nature alike, and is part of what makes our products special.

We infuse our organic oils, jojoba and olive, with herbs, flowers, berries, roots, leaves and bark to bring out the strongest constituents of each of the herbs (up to 10 in each infusion). These are then cold-pressed in-house to be used in each of the formulations. The end result is oils that have incredibly high concentrations of beneficial and bioactive ingredients, meaning a little goes a long way.
