Beauty is a journey

Sustainability and Our Vision for the Future

As a small batch, organic and artisanal producer, we know that our overall environmental impact is comparatively small. However, that doesn’t mean we aren’t passionate about sustainability and leaving as small a footprint as we can on the world at large, as well as leading through our actions. We are proud to be working towards being the first UK company certified with the FairWild Foundation, who work with harvesters, operators, producers and brands in the trade of wild plants to secure a fair and sustainable future for wild habitats and people.

Organic

We are CPSR certified which means ALL of our raw ingredients are certified organic.

Cruelty Free & Vegan

We don't test on animals or use animal products in our skincare.

Recyclable

All of our packaging is recyclable to reduce your waste too.
The term ‘Wildcrafted’ in our company name isn’t just a trendy buzzword - it describes what we do and informs our practices - as well as sourcing our ingredients from certified organic companies, we include our own, handpicked from our partner Stonelynk Organics, a Soil Association certified farm local to us in Fairlight, East Sussex. We pick rosehips from hedgerows and sow seeds on this land, with no interference from us, including watering or any form of pesticides, whilst making sure we don’t over-harvest, so that the plants may return to their former selves and keep providing the local wildlife and habitat with their benefits. This is Wildcrafting in its true form.

We prioritize sustainably and ethically sourced ingredients including the beeswax we use in our balms and face masks.
Our beeswax is cruelty-free (meaning no harm comes to the bees) and ethically sourced.

As well as giving us ingredients at the peak of their potency and effectiveness for skin nourishment, it encourages the habitat they are derived from to survive and thrive naturally, instead of perpetuating the cycle seen in large-scale monoculture-based farming.
Our future vision is to expand with this approach, and harvest more wildcrafted ingredients from Stonelynk and use on-site natural dehydration units, made from locally sourced wood and to prepare our herbs for infusions.
These days, we are lucky to have more refined technology at our disposal to reduce our environmental impact, such as solar power and wind energy to provide us with electricity, energy-free natural dehydration processes for our herbal ingredients, ground source heating for the winter months, sustainable timber for our buildings, rainwater collection to reduce water grid usage and so on.
This is the company we want to be, and want others to be part of, and we’re really excited about what the future holds.
